Indigenous Peoples and Intergenerational Trauma in the U.S.

Hosted by Dr. Mishy Lesser

Participants will learn about the relationship between settler colonialism and genocide for Indigenous peoples in the U.S.; historical and intergenerational trauma and identify trauma-informed strategies and community pathways to healing for children and care-givers.

Mishy Lesser, Ed.D., is an Emmy-award winning researcher, learning director of Upstander Project and Dawnland, and an Education Fellow at the Dodd Human Rights Impact at the University of Connecticut.
