Join us for an ethnographic writing workshop with award-winning educator, writer, and author of A People's History of Heaven, Mathangi Subramanian, Ed.D.
Participants will work through a series of analytical reading and writing exercises, resulting in an ethnographic poem.
Mathangi Subramanian is a former public school teacher and senior policy analyst for the New York City Council, the recipient of a Fulbright-Nehru Senior Fellowship, Jacob Javits Fellowship, and Office of Policy and Research Fellowship from Columbia Teacher's College. Among other awards, her novel Dear Ms. Naidu won the South Asia Book Award.
