Join the College of Education as we will be hosting an open house for our teacher preparation programs for interested students.  The open house will provide an opportunity for students to learn more about our teacher preparation programs and allow them to talk with our program coordinators.  Each open house will be conducted via zoom.  Please register here.  The open house will start at 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time)

Navigating the Academic Job Market

This workshop will present a concise overview of what to expect on the academic job market. We’ll talk about the timing of the job market, how faculty jobs can vary between institutions, various common job documents, and what to expect at the interview stage. Although certainly helpful to those on the job market right now, this information will be most valuable to those planning to be on the market in the future.

Python for Qualitative Research

Workshop attendees will learn about libraries in Python for qualitative data analysis and social network analysis as alternatives to software like NVivo. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions to determine what Python library may suit their project. Offered by Sergio Aranedo and The Center for Education Assessment.
