Congratulations Class of 2022!

We want to celebrate your amazing accomplishments with your friends and family.  We are so proud of everything you have accomplished during your time in the College of Education. 

 

Undergraduate Commencement

Friday, May 8 @ 4:30 p.m.
McGuirk Alumni Stadium

 

Chancellor Kumble Subbaswamy invites graduating seniors of the University of Massachusetts Amherst along with their families and friends to a celebration of the Class of 2022 on Friday, May 8, at 4:30 pm at McGuirk Stadium. The event will held outdoors in the stadium, rain or shine. Stadium gates open at 2:00 p.m. The ceremony is schedule to conclude at approximately 6:30 p.m. 

Parking & Shuttles

Shuttle buses will take guests to the ceremony from campus lots. Guests should plan to arrive on campus by 2:00 p.m. to allow plenty of time to get to campus, park their vehicle, and take a shuttle bus to the stadium.

Caps, gowns, and tassels may be picked up on the days and times listed below:

College of Education Senior Celebration

Saturday, May 14 @ 2:00 p.m.
Campus Center Auditorium, Lincoln Campus Center

Dean Cindy Gerstl-Pepin invites families and friends to celebrate the College of Education's Class of 2022! The Senior Celebration will be held in the Campus Center Auditorium in the Lincoln Campus Center on Saturday, May 14, at 2:00 p.m. 

Dean Gerstl-Pepin will officiate the ceremony and the 2022 College of Education Senior Speaker will deliver a short address. During the ceremony each graduate's name will be read and Ultimate Exposures will take photographs of each student as they receive their medal on stage. 

  • We ask that graduates and guests plan to arrive at Campus Center by 1:30 p.m.
  • Seniors should gather by Room 178.
  • Seniors should wear their cap and gown.
  • Parking is free in the parking garage for the weekend.

More Information

Seniors should wear their cap and gown for the Senior Celebration. Each graduate will receive a UMass Commemorative Medal. If you wish to receive a commemorative medal but are unable to attend the ceremony, please contact University Events Office at commencement@umass.edu to ask that your medal be sent to you.
