The Department of Economics encourages students to engage in opportunities beyond their academic requirements.
Opportunities for Economics majors at UMass Amherst include awards and scholarships, domestic exchange and study abroad, planning for graduate school in Economics, tutoring, the Undergraduate Economics Club (UEC), the Economics Undergraduate Research Assistantship (EURA), and the Massachusetts Undergraduate Journal of Economics (MUJE).
To keep up to date with Economics Department events and announcements, internship and job postings, fellowship opportunities, Undergrad Economics Club activities and more, Econ majors should regularly check our Economics Opportunities and Information Moodle when you log into Moodle for your classes.
