Dina Itkin, M.Sc.
Director, Quality Reporting and Analytics
The MENTOR Network
Dina has more than 15 years of experience in data management, visualization, integrity, analysis, and strategy in large and complex organizations. Since September 2020 Dina has been the Director of Quality Reporting and Analytics at The MENTOR Network, a national network of health and human services providers offering home- and community-based services. Her team improves benchmarking, collection, and reporting around clinical outcomes, health and wellness indicators, state and program licensing, compliance, and other quality indicators that inform decision making. Before that Dina held various roles at the Bureau of Labor Statistics with a focus on data management and analysis as well as new system development. She published research on the effect of layoffs and business ownership change on staffing. In that role Dina stayed active with UMass, guiding students on how to use BLS labor market data in their career search. Dina graduated from UMass Amherst in 2006 with a dual degree in economics and management. She holds a MS in Applied Economics, with a concentration in Quantitative Methods, from Johns Hopkins University.
Kate Bahn, Ph.D.

Kate Bahn is the director of labor market policy and an economist at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth. Her areas of research include gender, race, and ethnicity in the labor market, care work, and monopsonistic labor markets. Previously, she was an economist at the Center for American Progress. Bahn also serves as the executive vice president and secretary for the International Association for Feminist Economics. Bahn received her Ph.D. in economics from the New School for Social Research and her B.A. from Hampshire College.

Sophia is a recent Class of 2020 graduate majoring in Resource Economics. On campus, she was part of the Commonwealth Honors College as well as Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity, where she held the Vice President of Finance position. Currently, Sophia is a first-year Financial Analyst at BlackRock, an asset management firm in New York City.
