Join us for a timely online lecture with Eriko Stronach ('12), a UMass Amherst Japanese program alumna, as she examines the emerging relationship between the Trump administration and Japanese politician Sanae Takaichi, and what it means for bilateral economic security cooperation.
About the Speaker
Eriko Stronach is a Senior Associate at The Asia Group in Washington, DC, where she helps clients navigate Japan's complex regulatory and policy landscape and provides analysis on geocommercial trends in advanced and emerging technologies. Prior to this role, she worked in Tokyo at BowerGroupAsia and the Eurasia Group, and served as a Diplomatic Assistant in the Economic Section of the Embassy of Japan in Washington, DC. She holds an MA in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University's Fletcher School and a BA in Japanese Language and Literature from UMass Amherst. Eriko began her career on the JET Program in Ehime Prefecture and is fluent in Japanese and English.
