Chinese Tutoring Program (Fall 2025)
Chinese tutoring sessions are offered every weekday (Monday–Friday, 12:00–5:00 p.m.) either via *Zoom or in person, beginning in the second week of each semester.
Visiting a tutor is strongly encouraged for students enrolled in Chinese 110/120 through Chinese 126/246. Students in other Chinese language courses are also welcome. In addition, any active UMass student who has taken a Chinese class before, or is interested in taking one in the future, is encouraged to participate. All tutors are native Chinese speakers.
You do not need to make an appointment in advance to work with a tutor. However, we recommend signing up at least one day ahead, as drop-in tutoring may involve wait times.
If you sign up:
- Please cancel your appointment at least 5 hours in advance if you can’t make it.
- If your scheduled tutor isn’t available, you may join another tutor’s session during the same time.
