The School of Earth & Sustainability (SES) connects students to an array of hands-on trainings, workshops, research projects, and internships. These experiences provide UMass students with unique professional development and learning opportunities on campus and in the community.
Student Research and Applied Learning Opportunities
Each semester, SES creates a curated guide to all of the exciting research and project-based experiences available to UMass undergraduate and master’s students across disciplines. Students can tailor their learning based on their goals, exploring diverse areas such as climate resilience and adaptation, soil health and ecosystem function, wildlife and biodiversity conservation, geospatial analysis and remote sensing, and science communication.
