School of Earth & Sustainability 2 year Landscape Contracting associate degree program

Do you love to work outside? Do want to know how plants grow, how to install a porous unit paver patio, how to design a garden, how to sustainably manage landscapes? Then the UMass Landscape Contracting program is for you!

The 2-year Landscape Contracting program is for high school seniors who want to work with your hands in a growing profession. This is a highly applied Associate of Science (AS) degree program. Our students regularly win awards for their design-build projects and start profitable landscape contracting businesses after graduation. Many students transition into four-year degrees here at UMass or at other schools.
