Overview

This immersive, 10-hour experience provides students with a powerful opportunity to engage with a curriculum designed to enhance their understanding of climate change, with a special focus on place-based information and a social justice lens.

The training is structured as a blend of interactive, group-based learning and independent, self-paced activities. By the end of the program, participants can expect to:

  • Strengthen their climate literacy skills and gain access to university resources for continued learning.
  • Develop a framework for action that can be applied to their academic, professional, and personal lives.
  • Leave with a clear grasp of climate issues and a new perspective on how to create positive change.
