It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of mineralogist Stephen E. Haggerty on the 2nd of January, 2026 at the age of 87. He was a long time faculty member in EGCS, from 1972 to 2001. A complete obituary will appear soon assembled by his friends and colleagues.
