Research Interests
My research focuses on the areas of Paleoclimatology and Climate Change with two main emphases: (1) the hydrological and thermal sensitivity of tropical regions to shifts in climate forcing (e.g. greenhouse gases), and (2) the role of climate change in shaping the development of the Maya and other civilizations in Mesoamerica.
