The Office of Equity and Inclusion (OEI) is accepting applications through Friday, April 10th, from undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff members for 2026-2027 Campus Climate Improvement Grants (CCIG)

Ranging from $250 to $2,500, Campus Climate Improvement Grants support projects that promote dialogue, connection across differences, and positive changes in the campus climate and culture. Applicants are encouraged to submit their creative ideas.

Previously funded projects have included projects such as Understanding Caste: How Caste-Based Discrimination Manifests in Academia, Wellness Paint & Sip, The Black Lavender Collective Healing Symposium, Fighting Period Poverty at the Science & Engineering Library , and more.

“It takes a community effort to actively create and sustain a positive and productive campus climate and culture of connectedness and belonging for everyone,” says Arnold Lane, Jr. (He/Him), Director for the Strategic Advancement of Equity & Campus Climate. “Your experiences, partnership, and creative vision will help create this sustained communal change.”

Proposals should clearly reflect the challenges and needs for the community as assessed from the Campus Climate Survey. Special consideration will be given to projects that promote connection and belonging  and encourage participation and coordination between two or more areas, schools, departments, organizations, or groups

Complete application information, along with dates and times for grant information sessions can be found on the OEI Campus Climate Improvements Grants webpage.
