With its large and diverse population of students, faculty, and staff, the University of Massachusetts Amherst is committed to building a community where every individual feels a sense of belonging.

To kick off the new academic year, the UMass community is invited to participate in the third annual Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) conference. JEDI features a series of educational workshops, talks, panels, and networking events dedicated to Belonging@UMass

JEDI will take place from September 18 - 19, 2024. Keynote presentations will be held on September 18, and workshops on the 19th. Fill out this brief contact form to receive an early bird alert when registration opens.

OEI has collected conference proposals, and will notify applicants of their status soon.

Student Poster Sessions

As a new part of the JEDI conference, we welcome all undergraduate and graduate students to showcase research or team projects related to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion. Research in progress is welcomed! Please submit your proposal below.
