The Office of Equal Opportunity and Access (EOA) supports a safe and inclusive campus, addressing sex-based discrimination under Title IX. Reports can be made to the Title IX Coordinator, Deputy Coordinators, or EOA through private (not confidential) channels, including an anonymous online form. Even without formal reporting, confidential resources like counseling, advocacy, and medical care are available.

You may report an incident to the Title IX Coordinator, to a Deputy Title IX Coordinator, or to the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access, all of which keep information private but are not confidential. Anonymous reports can be made to the TIX Coordinator/EOA using our online form.

Confidential support options are available even if you choose not to formally report an incident, you have the right to access supportive resources, medical care, advocacy, and counseling. Learn more about Title IX Resources

What is Title IX?

Title IX of the Education Amendment Act of 1972 is a federal law that prohibits discrimination and harassment on the basis of sex—including sexual orientation and gender identity—in any federally funded education program or activity.  The most recent Title IX regulation continues to safeguard individuals from sexual harassment, sexual violence, bullying, pregnancy and parenting discrimination, and gender-based stereotyping and harassment.
