The Equal Opportunity and Access (EOA) team investigates complaints under the Policy Against Discrimination, Harassment, and Related Interpersonal Violence, implements policies, and offers guidance, training, and support on related issues, including Title IX.

Report an Incident
The University of Massachusetts Amherst is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful campus environment. This form allows you to report incidents of discrimination, harassment, or other conduct that violates University values and policies and/or to request support. Reports will be reviewed within two business days, with follow-up via your provided contact information.
Do You Need Help?
UMass prohibits discrimination, harassment, and retaliation based on protected characteristics such as race, gender, disability, and more in educational and employment contexts. The policy ensures compliance with federal and state laws like Title IX, ADA, and others.
EOA supports a safe and inclusive campus, addressing sex-based discrimination under Title IX. Reports can be made Title IX Coordinators through private (not confidential) channels, including an anonymous online form. Even without formal reporting, confidential resources like counseling, advocacy, and medical care are available.
