Wednesdays 2:30-3:45 pm, Bartlett Hall 121
Looking at the world, we can see that there is much that divides us and, yet, our responsibility as members of an educational community is to understand one another. The purpose of this course is to create a space where these questions can be explored in depth. Students will learn the skills needed for constructive dialogue, engage in facilitated conversations on some of these national and geopolitical issues that have captured our attention and, through direct engagement with topics, develop the skills to address the charge, "How do we work towards understanding those with whom we might strongly disagree?"
