Learning Specialists are graduate students or professional staff trained to utilize the most up-to-date learning skills, tools and tactics available to assist in the acquisition of skills and knowledge. They provide individualized instruction for students with information processing disabilities. Learning Specialists use specific teaching modalities that incorporate the needs of students with disabilities and take into consideration the specific strengths and weaknesses of diverse learners. Specialties include organization, time management and study skills.
