Disability Services works with both the student and their immediate supervisor to identify reasonable accommodations which will enable successful performance in various employment settings.
Accommodations may include adaptive equipment, facility modifications, an adjustment to work schedule or job duties, as well as a range of other creative solutions, so that the disabled employee will be able to continue to perform the essential functions of his/her job.
Accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis, through a cooperative effort between the student employee, their supervisor, and Disability Services. Should a conflict exist between the students and the supervisor, the issue may be brought to the attention of the Accessibility Workplace Manager at Human Resources for resolution.
