Nele Leosk

Nele Leosk is a PhD researcher in political science at the European University Institute (EUI), in Florence, Italy. Her research interests include: institutions and institutional change, governance and governance innovation, e-governance, e-democracy and e-participation. In her dissertation, she is analyzing the changing patterns of the development of e-governance throughout democratic countries, and the institutional changes that may have led to changes in the development of e-governance.

For 2014-2015, she is a research fellow as a Fulbright-Schuman grantee at the National Center for Digital Government (NCDG) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and at the Governance Lab at New York University, USA. At NCDG, Nele is working under the supervision of Distinguished Professor Jane Fountain.
