An Introduction to Dialogic Practice
What is dialogue? How is it different from discussion or debate, and why is dialogue a uniquely useful and supportive tool in moments of interpersonal tension and intergroup conflict? This session will introduce participants to frameworks for dialogue, explore ways to incorporate dialogic practices, share examples of how dialogue is currently being utilized at UMass, and provide information about how community members can learn more and get involved.
