Sputh, Frank

Biography:
Frank Sputh was born in 1963 in Erfurt. He studied cinematography at the Academy for Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg from 1986 to 1991. Since then he has worked as a freelance cameraman, mainly for current affairs films and documentaries on indigenous people. Sputh has worked with directors Rainer Simon, Marta Rodríguez, Soudabeh Mojaveri, and Ilona Ziok. He is also known as a director, producer, and photographer. Sputh is the founder of the organization Sacred Earth e. V., which supports indigenous projects in Latin America. He lives in Potsdam, Germany. [See: www.franksputh.agdok.de]
