Biography:
Claudia Geisler (or Geisler-Bading) was born in 1969 in Weimar, East Germany. She studied at the Academy for Performing Arts in Berlin and started her career acting on stage at the theater in Schwerin in 1990. She was a member of the Deutsches Theater ensemble from 1991-2001 and has appeared at the Renaissance Theater and Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin.
Geisler has also acted in film and television productions. Her television credits include appearances in series such as Alles Klar, SOKO Leipzig and SOKO Köln.
Her film debut was the leading role in Helke Misselwitz’s Herzsprung. She also appeared in the internationally awarded film Die Unberührbare, as well as in Lichter, Die Päpstin and The Monuments Men.
