Synopsis
The merchant's daughter Constance asks for a singing, soaring lark, which her father obtains from a lion on the condition that he send the first person he encounters at home to the lion's den. When this person turns out to be Constance herself, she goes to the lion against her father’s will and discovers that he is actually an enchanted prince. Only a woman's love can release him from the spell.
Based on the Grimms' fairytale "The Singing, Soaring Lark."
