Synopsis
This documentary contrasts East German efforts to achieve international peace and solidarity with oppressed peoples with Western imperialism and racism, in particular the the struggle for Civil Rights in the USA and apartheid in South Africa. The important roles of Angela Davis and Paul Robeson within the international solidarity movement are also highlighted.
