The first part of a film series on sexual education, designed for parents of children and teens. Using a combination of staged and semi-documentary elements, the director addressed the taboo issue of sexuality (well before the first films made by the champion of sexual education, Oswald Kolle, at the end of the 1960s).

This episode, which stresses the need to discuss puberty openly at home and in schools, gives insight into gender roles and the relationship between families and the state in regard to sexual education in the early 1960s.
