Synopsis

Heiner takes good care of his three little roosters and gives them fresh sand every day. One day, he goes to the beach to get some sand. When he sees a plover, he races with him and forgets about his roosters. Just as he remembers his three friends, he sees a seagull in the water. Heiner dives with the seagull. Finally, a colorful butterfly lures him far away. Heiner is tired from his adventures and falls asleep.

It is already evening, and the roosters still have not gotten fresh sand. They are afraid something happened to their friend and they go to look for him. When they find Heiner fast asleep on the most beautiful sand, they are touched that he walked that far for them. Heiner wakes up and feels bad that he forgot about his friends. He promises to find the best sand every day, regardless of how far he has to walk.
