Synopsis
Young Will (Jaecki Schwarz) tries to escape to West Berlin in a stolen brigade uniform, but Old Will (Erwin Geschonneck) prevents him. The older man's sympathetic behavior wins the younger man's respect and Young Will defends his detainer during a brutal attack by other fugitives who are trying to escape.
