Press comments
“In Steiner’s Teenage-Years, three young girls, Katrin, Birgit, and Anke, undergo vocational training with a special high school diploma at a state-owned farm near Wismar. The three talk to each other about their training and their future. Sure, these are still idealistic, dreamy ideas, but they are expressed in an atmosphere of familiarity and sincerity, yet strangely distant from the usual pronouncements of the Free German Youth." —Eduard Schreiber, “Zeit der verpassten Möglichkeiten 1970 bis 1980”
