Synopsis
Kurt Wans(z)ki spends his life in psychiatric clinics. His diagnosis: mental retardation, infantilism, incapacity for education, gradual depression, collector's mania... Free of all internal constraints or compulsions, Kurt lives his own life, perfecting his own art of living as a musician and painter on the streets of East Berlin. This sensitive film raises questions about the definition of what is considered "normal."
