Synopsis
Although German cities were spared from the atomic bomb in WWII, the "perfect bomb" was dropped on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945, shortly before capitulation. Almost four decades later, US President Reagan publicly announced the development of neutron bombs.
The film reminds the viewer that the use of atomic weapons by the United States should not be seen as an action that ended the war but rather as the beginning of a policy of threatening and blackmailing the Soviet Union.
