Due to his profession, long-distance truck driver Fred (Manfred Krug) gets to see a lot of the world and enjoy the company of numerous girlfriends in the stopovers on his routes. When an accident in Prague puts his co-driver Orje out of commission, the beautiful Hungarian Jana persuades him to let her ride along instead.

The more time this unmatched duo spend on the road, the more Jana is attracted to Fred. She performs the job to the best of her ability and tries to win Fred's attention, but convincing him to give up his address book of lovers is easier said than done.

This road trip comedy incorporates musical performances by several contemporary German and Eastern European bands.
