Synopsis
On July 14, 1958, the Iraqi government, which had close ties to the United States and Great Britain, was ousted in a military coup and the royal family and the prime minister were killed. The documentary presents these events as a justified reaction to Western colonialism and imperialism and expresses socialist solidarity with struggles for freedom in the Middle East.
