Synopsis
At a West German high school near the small town of Benderath, a group of boys band together and create a secret club called the "Trojans." Their Jewish classmate Jakob is mocked as a "enemy of the state" and "cowardly Oriental" by the fascist teacher Paecker. The Trojans insist that Paecker apologize for these anti-Semitic remarks and when he refuses, they boycott the school by retreating to their secret island hideout. These events set the whole town in an uproar and when even the parents side with the Trojans, the school board is forced to set the situation right.
