Synopsis
Pustekuchen, the administrator of a wholesale distributor, is only interested in bonuses. His irresponsible management causes significant shortages for customers, so that one local store only has cleaning products left in stock.
Store manager Schimmelpfennig reports back that the town inhabitants are planning an assembly to discover the cause of the shortage, so Pustekuchen tries to placate them with a large shipment of baby pacifiers. He sneaks into the store at night to find out what is going on but trips and injures himself. When he asks the assembled townspeople for bandages, they reply: "Don't got that! But how about some pacifiers?"
