What does Team Positive Presence do?
Team Positive Presence (TPP) is a student-centered initiative focused on peer to peer interactions that are positive, helpful and kind. We promote a positive environment for students on campus, and help connect students with educational resources off campus. The goals of the TPP program are to facilitate a culture of safe celebrations, increase the sense of community among UMass students, and create a positive social atmosphere on campus. We provide positive social messaging and raising awareness of university and Amherst regulations and laws. We also practice doing random acts of kindness! As a part of Off Campus Student Life, we also support department events and conduct outreach to off campus students. Come be part of a team committed to safety and positive social interactions among peers, the University, and the Amherst community!
How do I join Team Positive Presence?
Team Positive Presence is a paid student position on campus, and the average student works 6-8 hours a week. We typically hire at the end of every semester. If you'd like to be contacted when this opens up, please fill out our ongoing interest form, and we'll contact you with more information at that time. Be sure to follow us on Instagram @umasstpp to keep up to date with all that we're doing! For further questions or information, contact jmaspo@umass.edu.
