The Center for Teaching & Learning works with departments and colleges to provide context-specific sessions on a variety of teaching best practices and challenges. Our sessions feature current, well-grounded, and practical strategies that take into consideration our knowledge of the teaching dilemmas and contexts faced across campus. Collaboration Options
Depending on your needs, the CTL can offer a range of sessions, including:
- Tailored Workshop. A CTL consultant works with you to develop a one-time session that addresses a pedagogical challenge of pressing need to your faculty.
- Group Consultation. A group consultation with a CTL consultant and however many department/college members to address a defined teaching challenge shared across courses.
- Curriculum Revision. CTL staff work with a department on a larger curriculum project, such as mapping learning outcomes across courses or redesigning a foundational course to increase student success. These collaborative projects often involve multiple meetings and data analysis.
