100th Anniversary Endowment In 2010, the Cranberry Station proudly celebrated its centennial. The milestone was marked at the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers’ Association summer meeting in August. Challenged by the goal of making cranberry production sustainable as environmental concerns and the sprawl of urbanization increase, we will continue our programs in water, nutrient, and pest management as well as begin integrated studies on water conservation, water quality, and lower risk pest-control agents. Field diagnosis and research is essential to our work, and we want to ensure that we will always have the resources to solve problems on the bogs and in the lab.
