Eating Disorders & Intersectionality
Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm (EST)
Research shows that members of marginalized groups, such as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and individuals in larger bodies face barriers and stigma which contribute to mental health issues and eating disorders.
Join The Renfrew Center of Massachusetts as they discuss the impact of marginalization and privilege such as microaggressions, overt discrimination and systemic bias. Attendees will explore ways to engage in self-care, supporting a friend, allyship, advocacy, and community action on campus.
