Clinical Interests: My clinical interests include working with individuals with depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, interpersonal/relationship issues, existential concerns, and, more generally, anyone who may be feeling stuck. My interest is in brief psychodynamic psychotherapy and I am passionate about working with college students during what can be a difficult and stressful transition.
Education: B.A. in Psychology from the University of New England and M.Psy. in Clinical Psychology from the George Washington University.
Professional Experience: I have experience working in college counseling settings, including the United States Naval Academy and the University of the District of Columbia. I have also provided psychotherapy services at a community mental health clinic and psychological assessment services at a private practice in Washington, DC.
Memberships: American Psychological Association
More about: I enjoy spending time in nature (hiking, kayaking, etc.) and refurbishing antiques that I find at local flea markets. I believe that fostering empathy and compassion for ourselves and others is vital to healing and connecting.
