Jeremy Axelrad

Position at CCPH: Post-doctoral Fellow

Years at UMass: 2

Clinical Interests:  I’m interested in experiential psychotherapy, attachment theory, somatic psychology, and the integration of mindfulness and contemplative practice into psychotherapy. Beyond all the different theories, I love working with people of all backgrounds as they strive to heal, grow, and understand life in their own unique way; I feel truly grateful for the opportunity to do so.

Education: BA in Psychology and Philosophy at New college of Florida, MA in Clinical Psychology at Duquesne University

Professional Experience:  I’ve worked as a therapist at a Mental Health Clinic open to the greater Pittsburgh community, and at Duquesne University’s Counseling Center.

More about: I’m passionate about social justice and ecological issues, I like to cook, and I’m a sucker for most cheezy 90’s pop culture artifacts.
