About

My Approach: When you come in, you might be wanting closer relationships, more confidence and self-compassion, or a way to stop habits that keep pulling you back into the same old patterns. Together we’ll focus first on feeling better day to day, and then on understanding why these struggles have been so hard to shake in the first place.

Therapy with me is active and collaborative. What works for one person may be totally different from what helps someone else, so we’ll experiment with concrete tools and strategies, notice what actually helps, and keep tailoring our work to fit your goals and personality. The general framework I use is called TEAM CBT, a structured, evidence-informed approach developed by Dr. David Burns that combines clear goals, practical techniques, and regular feedback so we can see what’s working and adjust quickly. Over time, you’ll build skills to handle future difficult moments in new ways.

We’ll also work on helping you master relapse-prevention tools so that, when you inevitably hit an overwhelming moment, you can climb out more quickly and reconnect with a sense of joy and confidence. With me, therapy is a place to be honest about what isn’t working, experiment with what does, and build skills you can rely on long after college.
