Essential Campus Operations
The campus remains open to support a small number of students who are remaining in residence halls. All buildings are locked to all but essential personnel and services.
Worcester and Berkshire dining commons are open every day from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. for take-out service only to students, faculty or staff with a valid UMass ID. Guests are not allowed. More information from UMass Dining Services.
The campus libraries are closed. See the Library website for information on resources available remotely and workshops that are taking place virtually.
University Health Services (UHS)
University Health Services remains open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 5 p.m. Hours for some departments may vary. Before coming to the UHS building, patients must phone 413-577-5000. See the UHS website for more information.
UMass Transit Buses
Buses are running on a limited schedule. See the Transportation Services website for current information.
Parking is available in all yellow, purple, green and blue lots to those in the campus community who are working on campus during the shutdown. More information from UMass Parking Services.
Health and Safety Guidelines
Everyone, whether they are on or off campus should follow social distancing guidelines. See Health Resources for more information.
Based on recent guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, the university recommends the use of cloth face coverings. In situations where social distancing is possible, face coverings may not be necessary.
