Plans for Completing Move-out of Students from Residence Halls

Dear Resident,

We understand many students need to return to campus to collect their belongings.

At the same time, the health and wellbeing of our students, and all members of our community, remains our top priority. We must acknowledge the coronavirus crisis continues to rapidly evolve, and future state and federal responses and guidelines may be issued that reflect this dynamic situation.

To ensure social distancing, and based on guidance from the state, at this time, we must limit the number of students who are moving out of a residence hall at a given time.

Following an online reservation process, residents of Gorman, Brett, Oak, Sycamore and Prince were invited to finalize their spring 2020 move-out this weekend.  The process has been designed to facilitate safe social distancing and ensure low density levels are maintained throughout the weekend.

It is our sincere hope, pending a successful effort this weekend, and assuming no new federal or state responses are implemented, we will continue a systematic, sequenced process to finalize spring 2020 move-out for all remaining residents.

We will keep you informed, and we thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
