Flu season is almost here, and so are the University Health Services (UHS) campus flu clinics located conveniently at the Public Health Promotion Center at the Mullins Center. Help protect yourself and our UMass community by getting vaccinated – it's quick and easy! During the time of COVID-19, it's more important than ever to protect yourself against influenza.
New this year: The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is requiring all students to get the flu vaccine.
Appointments are available throughout the month of October and into November. You can schedule an appointment through the Campus Health Hub for the same time that you are getting your COVID-19 test. 1 + 1 = Get it Done!
Costs are billed to your health insurance, so bring your insurance plan's ID card with you. For questions about insurance coverage and billing at University Health Services, please go to: https://www.umass.edu/uhs/insurance
Learn more about flu, ways to stay healthy, and what to do if you're sick by viewing the CDC website.
Additionally, flu shots are available at UHS for UMass students, faculty and staff. Appointments are available Monday through Friday, and you can call 413-577-5101 to schedule.
The clinics are a partnership between The Public Health Promotion Center, UHS and UMass College of Nursing.
Your participation in the COVID-19 testing program and getting your flu shot are an essential component of our campus COVID-19 response plan. We are all in this together and appreciate your time and commitment to getting tested and getting your flu shot.
