State funds are an appropriation of budgets made directly from the state. State funds can be identified by a fund code beginning with a ‘1’. Disbursement using state funds are made directly out of the state banking system. The campus does not maintain the cash related to state funds but does maintain activity recorded on state funds in the University’s finance system.
