Author Talk with Reif Larsen
The Comparative Literature Program is proud to announce an author's talk with Reif Larsen at 7:00PM on April 12th at Amherst Books. The topic of Larsen's talk will be, "Book to Film, Book to Book: On adaptation and intercultual translation".
Reif Larsen is the author of two novel, The Selected Works of T. S. Spivet (2009) and I Am Radar (2015) that have been translated into twenty-nine languages. His first novel was made into an award-winning film in 2013. His writing has earned him comparisons to Mark Twain and W. G. Sebald. His other writing has appeared in The Guardian and The New York Times. He graduated from Brown University and holds an MFA from Columbia University.
