Comparative Literature graduate student Toni McElrath has received an ELEVATE fellowship from UMass's Energy Transition Institute. As a member of the program, he will work with an interdisciplinary group of graduate students and faculty to learn and develop strategies for greater climate resilience and equity.
Toni's research addresses systemic inequity and statistical discrimination in sustainable solutions for pollution and carbon reduction. He joined the Comparative Literature program in 2021.
