Gisselle Lopez

Gisselle Lopez is a PhD student in Comparative Literature. She earned her BA in English and her MA in Languages, Literatures & Cultures (focusing on Comparative Literature with Spanish and French) at the University of South Carolina. During her MA program at USC, Gisselle worked as the Language Table Coordinator for Global Fellows, a Living & Learning Community at USC. Gisselle is fluent in English and Spanish, with a working intermediate level of French, and she is currently learning Portuguese. Her research interests include Caribbean literature, migration studies, translation studies, and gender theory.
